Desiree Hocker

I have 30 years of experience working with children in childcare settings, starting in my aunt’s home daycare when I was just 10 years old. I am a mother of three kids myself, ages 8, 14, and 21. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology studying childhood development.

I am passionate, caring, and loving, and have been given the title kid at heart by my own kids. I love children, and every child that comes into my home becomes one of my kids.

I was a single mother for 12 years and without the help of amazing home providers, I would have had a significantly harder time navigating those years. My goal is to be able to provide the level of care and support I received when I needed it most, to families that are in need of that now. To assist parents in developing their children’s social, emotional, and behavioral skills to help them succeed in their futures.
